As a Software Engineer on our device software team, you will have a significant opportunity to influence cutting-edge products. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Leading system architecture and developing new features for embedded systems. - Investigating, prototyping, and delivering innovative system solutions. - Designing, developing, and verifying firmware for embedded systems. - Participating actively in design reviews, API development, and comprehensive documentation. - Working with emerging technologies crucial for product advancement. - Producing detailed investigation plans, architectural documents, design specifications, software and firmware source code, and build scripts. - Building expertise in wireless technologies such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. - Performing debugging, bring-up, and both beta and production software development. - Collaborating effectively with cross-functional software and hardware product teams.

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

- A minimum of 3 years of experience in embedded firmware development. - A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. - Proven experience in embedded software design, development, and debugging, ideally on ARM-based platforms. - Proficiency in coding using C/C++. - Familiarity with embedded Linux development and Android systems. - Practical board-level experience.

Preferred qualifications include a deep understanding of Bluetooth Classic/BLE (HCI, L2CAP, GATT/GAP, profiles), protocol stacks, and wireless sniffers. Strong debugging skills for embedded systems, experience building factory test plans, and familiarity with ARM-based SOC architecture are also highly valued. The ability to mentor other developers and maintain architectural vision is a plus.
