The Amazon Buyer Risk Prevention (BRP) team is a global leader in eCommerce fraud and abuse prevention, prioritizing customer trust and safety above all. We are committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience while upholding these core principles. Our Buyer Abuse Engineering Team specifically focuses on developing highly sophisticated, data-driven systems designed to identify and neutralize fraudulent activities across millions of transactions, ensuring a secure environment for legitimate customers.

Design and build advanced engineering systems to combat buyer fraud and abuse. Develop sophisticated, data-centric solutions utilizing machine learning and statistical modeling. Create highly scalable, flexible, and distributed systems to handle massive transaction volumes. Innovate continuously to stay ahead of evolving abuse tactics and protect Amazon's interests. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate fraud prevention mechanisms into various business pipelines.

Possess a minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience, excluding internships. Have at least 2 years of experience in designing and architecting reliable and scalable systems, including the application of design patterns. Demonstrate proficiency in programming with at least one software programming language. Experience with the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations is highly preferred. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is considered a strong asset.
