This role is key to developing scalable software solutions for the Developer Monetization experience. We seek individuals passionate about designing robust, low-latency systems and eager to contribute their ingenuity and expertise to shape a world-class Appstore environment.

Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of critical distributed systems. Influence team direction, make key technology decisions, and mentor engineers to improve system maintainability.

Drive innovation and significant improvements by challenging the status quo and thinking creatively to achieve step-function changes.

Engage with senior engineers to review designs and architectures, monitor system health and customer metrics, and solve complex, ambiguous problems. Code critical modules and influence senior leaders with architectural proposals for future needs.

Possess at least 3 years of professional software development experience, excluding internships. Have 2+ years in designing or architecting new and existing systems, including experience with design patterns, reliability, and scaling.

Demonstrate proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as Java. Experience with service architectures, databases, and handling large-scale systems is essential. A strong understanding of advanced engineering principles, architecture, and design patterns is required.

An ideal candidate is a fast, efficient coder capable of making informed coding and design decisions across multiple dimensions. Experience in the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations, is preferred. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is beneficial.
