As a Software Development Engineer for Amazon OpenSearch Service, you will design, develop, and maintain a leading OpenSearch Service managing thousands of search domains. Your focus will be on enhancing scalability, performance, service robustness, and cost efficiency within a highly virtualized, elastic cloud environment. You will apply advanced analytical and modeling techniques to predict and measure design outcomes, continuously automating and optimizing distributed systems. We are seeking highly motivated Software Development Engineers with at least 3 years of professional software development experience, excluding internships. A minimum of 2 years in designing or architecting new and existing systems, including expertise in design patterns, reliability, and scaling, is essential. Proficiency with big data technologies such as AWS, Hadoop, Spark, Pig, Hive, Lucene/SOLR, or Storm/Samza is required, along with experience in at least one programming language.
