Design, develop, and maintain a leading-edge OpenSearch Service capable of managing thousands of search domains. Focus on enhancing scalability, performance, service robustness, and cost-effectiveness in a cloud-based environment. Apply analytical and mathematical techniques to predict, measure, and evaluate system designs and platform success. Continuously drive improvements, automation, and optimization of distributed systems and tools to meet evolving market demands. Collaborate with an operations team to ensure seamless 24x7 global service operation. Contribute to the strategic vision and objectives for Amazon OpenSearch Service. Possess a minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience (excluding internships). Demonstrate at least 2 years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, focusing on patterns, reliability, and scaling. Have 3+ years of experience with big data technologies such as AWS, Hadoop, Spark, Pig, Hive, Lucene/SOLR, or Storm/Samza. Proficiency in at least one software programming language. Experience with the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations is preferred. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
