As a Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in defining, developing, integrating, and supporting software solutions using Java, C++, and ReactNative for Kindle Readers and Applications. You will drive the architecture of software solutions, focusing on improving subsystem compatibility and developing novel concepts.

Key responsibilities include designing and implementing high-performance features, preparing technical requirements and design specifications, and understanding graphics subsystems. You will champion best practices in software development and documentation, ensuring designs meet stringent requirements and delivering exceptional software on demanding schedules.

We are looking for professionals with at least 3 years of non-internship software development experience and 2 years in designing or architecting new and existing systems, including familiarity with design patterns, reliability, and scaling. Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, C++, or C#, coupled with strong object-oriented design skills, is essential.

Additional experience in the full software development lifecycle, encompassing coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations, is highly valued. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred, as is experience with C++.
