Architect and develop new features for embedded systems, investigating and prototyping novel system solutions. Optimize system-level performance and design/verify firmware for embedded devices.
Participate in design reviews, API development, and documentation. Work with emerging technologies crucial for product advancement. Deliver comprehensive investigation plans, architectural documents, design specifications, and source code.
Manage the full embedded development lifecycle, including debugging, board bring-up, Beta, and production phases. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product integration.
Drive the adoption and innovation of Generative AI within the software development lifecycle.
A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is required, along with over three years of experience in system design and architecture, focusing on design patterns, reliability, and scaling. A minimum of four years in professional software development is essential.
Proficiency in at least one programming language is necessary. Candidates should possess experience in embedded development using C/C++, and familiarity with RTOS, Android, and/or Linux systems is crucial. Experience with board bring-up and troubleshooting embedded systems is also required.
Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in computer science, over three years of experience in the full software development lifecycle, and expertise in Linux OS, network troubleshooting, and networking protocols. Familiarity with Linux on ARM CPUs and real-time debugging tools (software and hardware) is advantageous.
