The position involves driving the development and scaling of real-time Agentic AI solutions for next-generation communication features. You will partner with product management, science, design, and engineering teams to deliver seamless, intelligent communication experiences. A key aspect of this role is leading the design and architecture of advanced AI systems within Alexa's core experience, ensuring a high quality bar and exceptional customer experience.

Design and develop large-scale agentic AI systems powering Communications features on Alexa.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand Agentic AI requirements and deliver high-quality, available solutions.

Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance our Alexa systems.

Support team members through knowledge sharing and technical guidance.

Leverage full-stack development, distributed systems, agentic AI, and machine learning across our technology stack for end-to-end data excellence.

Requires 3+ years of professional software development experience (excluding internships).

Possesses 2+ years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, focusing on reliability and scaling.

Proficiency in programming with at least one software programming language.

Preferred qualifications include 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, covering coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is also preferred.
