As a key member of the Alexa Entertainment Team, you will have independent technical ownership of new customer features and supporting architecture. You will collaborate directly with Product Management and Design to refine user experiences for Alexa entertainment products. Our team thrives in a fast-paced environment, delivering exciting new features for customers and fostering a fun, collaborative culture.

Design, implement, and deliver software solutions for complex Alexa Audio challenges, collaborating with product managers, technical program managers, and senior engineers.

Develop infrastructure to integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) into the audio domain, adhering to best practices in software engineering and operational excellence.

Create tools and software for evaluating, analyzing, and enhancing model accuracy for various audio experiences, while optimizing for reduced latency and customer friction.

Influence the roadmap for operational and engineering excellence across core audio services, proactively addressing peak readiness, hardware efficiency, scaling, and improving service availability and resiliency.

Provide design and coding feedback to internal and external teams, guiding them on best practices for audio service development and upholding high-quality standards.

Mentor junior team members, assist with onboarding, and actively participate in interview and hiring processes, sharing expertise through demos and knowledge-sharing sessions.

A minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience, excluding internships, is required.

Candidates must possess at least 2 years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, focusing on reliability and scalability.

Proficiency in at least one software programming language is essential.

Preferred qualifications include 3+ years of experience across the full software development lifecycle, encompassing coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is also preferred.
