Join Amazon's Quick Commerce (QC) team as a Software Development Engineer and contribute to building the next generation of ultra-fast delivery technology from the ground up. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on large-scale, distributed systems that directly impact millions of customers.

Amazon's QC business is experiencing rapid growth, and we're developing a brand-new fulfillment stack on AFT foundations. You'll be instrumental in creating composable, work-cell-based systems for our micro-stores, covering everything from inbound receiving to picking and last-mile handoff.

This is a "0 to 1" initiative where your code will shape the future of Quick Commerce fulfillment operations at Amazon, enabling 10-minute delivery experiences.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable services and APIs that power the QC fulfillment stack.

Build systems to manage operational controls in external fulfillment environments, including partnerships with third-party providers.

Collaborate with senior engineers, product managers, and TPMs to craft technical solutions for large-scale fulfillment challenges.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code adhering to Amazon's best engineering practices.

Drive improvements in system performance, reliability, and operational speed to achieve industry-leading benchmarks.

Participate actively in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning.

Mentor junior engineers and help elevate the team's overall engineering standards.

Operate effectively in a fast-paced, agile setting, delivering new features rapidly.

A minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience, excluding internships.

At least 2 years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, focusing on design patterns, reliability, and scaling.

Proficiency in at least one software programming language is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

3+ years of experience across the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.

Experience with agile/scrum methodologies or in operating highly available, distributed systems for data extraction, ingestion, and processing is beneficial.

Experience in high-tech, fast-paced environments or demonstrated ability to complete complex tasks quickly with minimal supervision.

Prior experience in fulfillment, logistics, or supply chain technology is advantageous.
