You will be instrumental in developing large-scale, modular systems for our micro-stores, overseeing everything from receiving to last-mile handoff. This role offers a chance to directly influence Quick Commerce operations and Amazon Now's growth by creating high-performing, scalable systems.

Architect, develop, and maintain robust, scalable services and APIs for the QC fulfillment infrastructure.

Create systems that ensure operational efficiency in external fulfillment environments, collaborating with 3rd party partners.

Partner with senior engineers, product managers, and technical program managers to devise solutions for complex fulfillment challenges at scale.

Write clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code adhering to Amazon's engineering standards.

Champion continuous improvements in system performance, reliability, and speed, aiming for industry-leading benchmarks.

Actively participate in code reviews, design discussions, and strategic technical planning.

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to elevating the team's overall engineering excellence.

A minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience, excluding internships.

Over 2 years of experience in designing and architecting new and existing systems, focusing on reliability and scalability.

Proficiency in at least one programming language is essential.

Preferred experience includes 3+ years in the full software development lifecycle (coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations).

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is advantageous.

Experience in fulfillment, logistics, or supply chain technology is a plus.
