Shape the future of ultra-fast delivery by joining Amazon's Quick Commerce (QC) team. This is a unique opportunity to build next-generation fulfillment technology from the ground up, directly impacting how millions of customers receive their orders with speed.
The QC business is experiencing rapid growth, requiring innovative solutions for hundreds of thousands of daily orders. You will contribute to building a brand-new fulfillment stack on AFT foundations, designed to power micro-stores and ensure seamless operations.
As a Software Development Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing large-scale, composable systems for inbound receiving, guided stowing, picking, staging, and last-mile handoff. These systems will empower thousands of store associates to provide exceptional customer experiences with 10-minute delivery.
This role offers a true 0→1 experience, where your contributions will directly influence the operational efficiency of Quick Commerce fulfillment at Amazon.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable services and APIs essential for the QC fulfillment stack. Implement systems that govern operational controls within external fulfillment environments, collaborating with third-party partners.
Collaborate closely with senior engineers, principal engineers, TPMs, and product managers to devise technical solutions for large-scale fulfillment challenges. Write clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code, adhering to Amazon's established engineering best practices.
Drive continuous enhancements in system performance, reliability, and operational efficiency to achieve industry-leading speeds. Actively participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning sessions. Mentor junior engineers to elevate the team's overall engineering capabilities.

A minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience, excluding internships. Possess at least 2 years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, focusing on design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
Proficiency in at least one software programming language is required. Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations, is highly desirable.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred. Prior experience in fulfillment, logistics, or supply chain technology would be a significant advantage.
