As a Software Development Engineer II, you will be instrumental in building, scaling, monitoring, and optimizing critical systems within AFFS. This role involves close collaboration with diverse teams, including Retail, Marketplace, Digital, Web Services, and Financial Systems.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, testing, deploying, and maintaining innovative software solutions focused on service optimization, cost reduction, and enhanced security. Employing software engineering best practices is crucial for ensuring high-quality deliverables. You will also write robust distributed system software and thrive in an agile, dynamic development environment.

We are seeking experienced software engineers who excel at tackling complex challenges and managing high-load, mission-critical systems. A minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience and 2 years focused on designing or architecting new and existing systems, including patterns, reliability, and scaling, is required. Proficiency in at least one programming language is essential.

Experience across the full software development lifecycle, encompassing coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations, is highly valued. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is a prerequisite for this role.
