As a Software Development Engineer, you will design, build, and own high-quality software features throughout the entire development lifecycle. This includes defining requirements, designing solutions, implementing code, conducting rigorous testing, managing deployment, and overseeing operations.

You will drive significant improvements across the team's codebase, focusing on refactoring and deprecation. Essential duties involve writing clear, maintainable code, providing constructive feedback through code reviews, and resolving operational issues by identifying root causes and implementing improvements.

Collaboration is key; you'll work with customers, stakeholders, and peers to understand business needs and translate them into robust, scalable software. Producing clear technical documentation will ensure the longevity and expandability of our software. Furthermore, you will mentor and train teammates on team systems and best practices.

You'll balance new feature development with operational priorities, staying abreast of industry innovations to apply new technologies, design patterns, and engineering practices. Contributing to an inclusive and continuously improving team culture is also a core aspect of this role.

We are seeking individuals with a minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience (excluding internships) and at least 2 years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, focusing on patterns, reliability, and scaling.

Proficiency in at least one software programming language is essential. Experience across the full software development lifecycle, encompassing coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations, is highly preferred.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is considered advantageous. We are looking for candidates who possess a strong foundation in software engineering principles and a passion for building impactful customer-facing solutions.
