Join our team as an Agent Engineer to develop enterprise-grade AI agents capable of handling high volumes of customer conversations. This role involves close collaboration with our CX team to design, build, and deploy sophisticated AI solutions.

This is a hands-on software development position focused on building AI agents programmatically, requiring extensive coding workflows for setup, development, testing, and deployment. The position is not a no-code/low-code application.

Responsibilities include building AI agents from scratch based on product requirements. This involves developing the agent, rigorously testing various scenarios such as knowledge retrieval and support journeys, and writing comprehensive simulation tests.

Engage directly with clients in a product capacity to ensure the AI agent meets their needs and integrates seamlessly with necessary APIs and databases. Regularly review live conversations and client feedback, utilizing experience management tools to identify areas for improvement and address any issues.

We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on software development experience in highly technical products, with past roles equivalent to or exceeding Senior Software Engineer.

Proficiency in React, Typescript, and Go is essential, along with experience in Python. Prior experience interfacing with end customers to influence software development is highly valued.

Engineers must be self-sufficient and comfortable with standard software development lifecycles, capable of writing code independently for component building, API integration, and testing/deployment. A strong understanding of ReactJS and Typescript, version control with Git, and modern engineering workflows is required. Familiarity with LLMs and writing API integrations in Typescript is also necessary.

A comprehensive grasp of React JS core concepts and front-end frameworks is expected. While the Agent SDK has unique aspects, a solid understanding of React development and component lifecycles will facilitate adaptation. Essential skills include intermediate to advanced React and Typescript, Python, LLM/prompt engineering basics, Github/version control, and terminal proficiency.
