You'll be at the forefront of developing systems that support Amazon's fastest delivery promises, including Same-Day Delivery, Grocery, and Rush programs across various international regions. The work involves owning critical services for package handling and routing, ensuring millions of time-sensitive orders meet delivery SLAs.
This position offers a unique blend of deep technical responsibility and significant operational impact. The code you write will operate within a live, sub-hour delivery network where reliability and low latency are paramount. Collaboration with product, science, and operations teams will be key to launching new speed programs and expanding services into new markets.
Take a lead role in the architecture, design, implementation, and deployment of sophisticated, large-scale software systems.

A minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience, excluding internships.
Possess at least 2 years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, with a focus on reliability and scalability.
Proficiency in at least one software programming language.
Solid understanding of professional software engineering principles and best practices throughout the entire development lifecycle, including coding standards, software architecture, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployment, testing, and operational excellence.
