Join our Supply Chain Optimization Technologies (SCOT) organization as a Software Development Engineer within the Automated Inventory Management (AIM) team for the Rest of World (RoW) region. This role focuses on extending SCOT's advanced supply chain systems to global stores, adapting to unique regional requirements. You will contribute to core Data/Service Foundations, implement country-specific customizations for taxation and currency, and ensure seamless multi-format fulfillment. The team is responsible for critical priority deliveries and end-to-end lifecycle management for all launched capabilities.

Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, debug, deploy, maintain, document, and deliver large-scale, highly distributed, real-time systems crucial for effective supply chain business management.
Utilize expertise in Java, Scala, object-oriented design patterns, NoSQL databases, and data modeling techniques.
Architect and implement petabyte-scale big data processing solutions leveraging cutting-edge AWS services.
Translate business and functional requirements into detailed technical design specifications, acting as a key technical resource throughout the development lifecycle.
Generate comprehensive and user-friendly software documentation.
Propose improvements to development, maintenance, and system standards.
Collaborate with Senior and Principal Engineers, Researchers, and Data Engineers across multiple teams to devise software solutions for optimizing supply chain management.
Participate actively in an agile development environment, prioritizing and delivering on the most impactful tasks.
A minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience, excluding internships.
Over 2 years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, with a focus on design patterns, reliability, and scalability.
Proficiency in at least one software programming language.
3+ years of experience spanning the full software development lifecycle, encompassing coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
