The ideal candidate will lead the design, implementation, and delivery of software crucial for these capabilities. You will construct distributed systems for autonomous planning, scenario evaluation, and network-wide resource optimization, directly influencing millions of customer interactions with Amazon's support.

As a Software Development Engineer, you will be instrumental in delivering software features and enhancements that span significant portions of our team's technology. This includes new development, system refactoring, and the deprecation of older systems.

You will architect solutions that introduce new functionalities or elevate existing systems, ensuring alignment with our long-term architectural vision. Collaborating closely with customers and stakeholders, you will pinpoint business value and guarantee the delivery of precisely the right solutions.

Furthermore, you are expected to meticulously document the construction, testing, and operational procedures of our software, actively mentoring new team members to ensure smooth knowledge transfer and onboarding. Your contributions will cover the full software development lifecycle, from initial scoping and design to coding, rigorous testing, seamless deployment, and ongoing maintenance.

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience, excluding internships. Additionally, you should possess at least 2 years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, demonstrating a strong grasp of design patterns, reliability, and scalability principles.

Proficiency in at least one software programming language is essential. Experience with the complete software development lifecycle, encompassing coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations, is highly preferred.
