This role offers a significant opportunity to contribute to patents for Amazon while defining and implementing extensible, multi-faceted solutions for global and region-specific payment protocols and workflows. This is a critical program with high leadership visibility and the potential to deliver substantial business value.
Define, design, and implement robust, multi-tier distributed software applications. Accurately estimate engineering effort, plan implementations, and roll out system changes that meet stringent requirements for functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability.
Independently design, code, and test major features. Collaborate effectively with team members to deliver complex, integrated changes. Thrive in a fast-paced environment, working closely with multiple cross-functional teams including software development, QA, Project/Release Management, and Build and Release.
A minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience, excluding internships. Possess over 2 years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, including practical application of design patterns, reliability, and scaling principles.
Demonstrated experience in the Video Games Industry, supporting title development, release, or live operations for at least 3 years. Proficiency in at least one programming language is essential. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
