We are seeking experienced Software Development Engineers to play a pivotal role in establishing our Project Amazon Leo Commerce team in India. This is a unique opportunity to shape our regional presence and develop crucial commerce systems for Amazon Leo's global operations.

As part of the founding Amazon Leo Commerce team, you will contribute to the overall product strategy and UI presentation.

You will design and implement globally scalable distributed cloud architectures, collaborating closely with AWS, retail e-commerce, networking, and security engineering teams.

This role involves ownership of the UI for new features, from conceptualization and design exploration to technical implementation using modern technologies and design patterns. You will work collaboratively with fellow engineers, product managers, and UX designers to ensure an exceptional customer experience.

We are looking for candidates with at least 3 years of professional software development experience, excluding internships.

Significant experience, 2+ years, in designing or architecting new and existing systems, focusing on reliability and scalability, is required.

You should possess 3+ years of experience building complex software systems and proficiency in at least one programming language.

Preferred qualifications include 3+ years in the full software development lifecycle, encompassing coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations, along with a Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
