Join Amazon Leo, our groundbreaking low Earth orbit satellite network, dedicated to providing high-speed, dependable internet access to underserved areas worldwide. This role is a pivotal part of establishing and expanding our operations in India, focusing on the development of essential commerce systems for Amazon Leo's global network.

This position may involve access to export-controlled technology. Employment is contingent upon obtaining necessary U.S. government export licenses and approvals, based on nationality, citizenship, and other regulatory factors.

Contribute significantly to product strategy and user interface presentation.

Engineer robust, globally scalable distributed cloud architectures.

Collaborate closely with AWS, retail e-commerce, networking, and security engineering teams.

Take ownership of the complete UI lifecycle for new features, from ideation and design exploration to technical implementation using modern technologies and patterns.

Work in tandem with Software Development Engineers, Product Managers, and UX Designers to create exceptional customer experiences.

Requires a minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience, excluding internships.

Possess at least 2 years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, including familiarity with design patterns, reliability, and scaling.

Demonstrated proficiency in at least one programming language.

Preferred qualifications include 3+ years of experience across the full software development lifecycle, encompassing coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations. A Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is also advantageous.
