Join NVIDIA, a company at the forefront of innovation in GPUs and parallel computing. We are seeking talented architects and software developers to contribute to our advanced architecture modeling efforts. This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge chip architectures that push the boundaries of performance and efficiency in graphics and high-performance computing.
As part of our Architecture Modelling group, you will collaborate with world-class engineers to model, analyze, and validate new chip architectures and features. Your work will directly impact the state-of-the-art in computing technology and help maintain NVIDIA's leadership in the industry.
Key responsibilities include the modeling and analysis of graphics, LPU, and SOC algorithms and features. You will lead end-to-end chip model execution, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Driving next-generation infrastructure initiatives and contributing to documentation, design, development of analysis tools, simulation, validation, and verification of models are also integral. Developing tests, test plans, and testing infrastructure for new architectures, along with performing code coverage analysis and reporting, will be essential components of this role.
We require a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering, coupled with at least two years of applicable work experience. A strong command of C++ and C programming is essential, along with a solid understanding of build systems like CMAKE and make, toolchains including GCC and MSVC, and libraries such as STL and BOOST.
A background in computer architecture, ideally with experience in modeling using SystemC & TLM, is preferred. Familiarity with tools like Docker, Jenkins, Python, and Perl is beneficial. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for collaborating effectively within a distributed team environment.
