The Data Center Engineering (DCE) team is specifically seeking a motivated and innovative Civil Engineer to lead design and construction efforts for our enterprise data center campus projects. This client-side, technical lead role is crucial for project success.

- Develop and communicate conceptual designs, maintaining comprehensive project documentation throughout the construction lifecycle. - Establish and uphold design standards, prototypes, and template specifications for site design. - Evaluate Due Diligence assessments to identify site constraints, risks, and define investigation scopes. - Prepare, review, and release requests for proposals for design consultants. - Oversee external civil design consultants during the design and construction phases. - Develop and review designs for grading, storm water management, flood mitigation, utilities, and pavements. - Apply in-depth knowledge of civil design interdependencies to optimize earthworks and utility designs, minimizing construction schedules. - Direct internal modeling and documentation resources. - Coordinate effectively with internal and external Architecture, Structure, and MEP design engineers. - Clearly communicate design standards to all internal and external project partners. - Manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. - Employ creative problem-solving to devise innovative solutions, reducing costs without compromising quality or reliability. - Undertake travel for site assessments, internal design meetings, construction reviews, and engagement with authorities, with an anticipated travel commitment of approximately 25%.

A minimum of 6 years of experience in project management or project leadership is required. This includes demonstrated experience with the RFQ/RFP process, selecting engineering teams, developing budgets, coordinating multiple consultant teams, and facilitating meetings. A strong understanding of building codes and regulations pertinent to your region is essential.

Candidates must possess experience in industrial or commercial engineering within mission-critical facilities, such as data centers, power generation, or oil and gas facilities. A Professional Engineering or Architectural License is a prerequisite. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
