As a Snowflake Data Engineer, you will be instrumental in client engagements and the successful delivery of data solutions. Your core responsibilities will include developing robust data pipelines, leveraging Snowflake and other cloud data platforms. You will also contribute to data architecture and modelling, ensuring best practices and quality governance throughout the data lifecycle. Effective collaboration with solution architects, fellow data engineers, and client stakeholders will be key to your success.

You will build strong business relationships with solution architects and various data professionals.

We are looking for individuals with a proven track record in data engineering and pipeline development, specifically on Snowflake and cloud-native platforms. Essential skills include expertise across the entire data lifecycle – from ingestion and transformation to modelling, governance, and consumption. Strong consulting values, coupled with exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities are vital. Experience leading engineering teams to deliver high-quality data solutions is also highly valued.

Technical proficiency should encompass deep expertise with Snowflake features, including warehouses, Snowpark, and performance tuning. You must be proficient in ETL/ELT tools such as DBT, Matillion, or Talend. A strong command of SQL and Python for data manipulation and automation is required, along with hands-on experience with major cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Familiarity with data modelling methodologies and version control tools is expected. A university degree is mandatory, with a Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or a related field being preferred.
