Join Google Customer Solutions (GCS) as a Vendor Performance Manager (VPM) and lead the charge in managing vendor sales performance. You will be the primary point of contact, driving accountability for exceptional sales results and quality outcomes. This role is crucial for enabling site-program success through targeted support and strategic influence.
This position is focused on the AUNZ market and may involve working outside standard business hours. The Global Business Organization (GBO) drives Google's comprehensive suite of products and services, empowering customers and partners to thrive. GBO encompasses Ads sales, business development, customer service, and specialized programs designed for impactful engagement with key clients and partners.
Develop quarterly strategies in partnership with vendor leaders, diligently monitor weekly sales performance metrics, and communicate critical market insights to Google sales leadership through regular updates and reviews.
Uphold vendor service quality by ensuring adherence to contracted Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through consistent call audits, calibration sessions, and quality assessments.
Cultivate strong, trusted relationships with vendor sales management, clearly articulating program-specific requirements and expectations while offering tailored support, best practices, and guidance.
Deliver essential on-the-ground feedback and support to implement operational improvement initiatives championed by central Google teams.
Identify and execute collaborative opportunities across GCS to facilitate seamless customer outreach, graduations, and other growth initiatives.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
Possess at least 7 years of experience in operations or business management, including vendor management.
Bring a minimum of 7 years of experience leveraging analytics or applying project management tools to resolve business challenges.
Project Management certifications such as PMP or Six Sigma are preferred.
Experience in managing digital advertising, including Google Ads, campaign building, and optimization is highly desirable.
Familiarity with the GCS Incentive system (Points, UAAs, Spend Bands, Offerings, etc.) is advantageous.
Prior experience in the early stages of the customer lifecycle, such as Onboarding and Acquisition, is beneficial.
An understanding of effective selling techniques, including objection handling and competitive selling, is expected.
Exceptional skills in analyzing sales performance, managing sales activities and metrics, diagnosing issues, and translating insights into actionable recommendations are essential.
