Join Google Customer Solutions (GCS) as a Vendor Performance Manager (VPM) and become a key player in managing vendor sales.
You will be instrumental in influencing and holding vendor management teams accountable for exceptional sales performance and quality. This role focuses on ensuring site-program success through dedicated support and strategic oversight.
Your responsibilities will include analyzing vendor performance, presenting crucial insights to Google sales leadership, and championing initiatives to enhance GCS vendor operations. You will also share best practices globally across vendor management and Google teams.
This position is aligned with the AUNZ market and may involve working non-standard hours. The Global Business Organization (GBO) drives Google’s ecosystem of products and services, supporting customer and partner growth through its commercial, business development, and customer service arms.
Develop quarterly strategies collaboratively with vendor leaders, meticulously monitoring weekly sales performance metrics. Present key market performance insights to Google sales leadership through regular updates and monthly reviews.
Uphold vendor service quality against contracted Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). This involves conducting consistent call audits, calibration sessions, and quality assessments.
Cultivate strong, trusted relationships with vendor sales management, setting rigorous expectations for program agreement adherence while providing essential support, best practices, and guidance.
Deliver vital on-the-ground feedback and support to implement vendor operations improvement initiatives spearheaded by central Google teams.
Identify and execute cross-GCS collaborations to facilitate seamless customer outreach, graduations, and other key processes.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
Possess seven years of experience in operations, business management, and vendor management.
Demonstrate seven years of experience utilizing analytics or applying project management tools to resolve business challenges.
Preferred qualifications include Project Management certifications like PMP or Six Sigma, experience managing digital advertising (Google Ads), campaign building and optimization, familiarity with the GCS Incentive system, and experience in early customer lifecycle stages such as onboarding and acquisition.
An understanding of selling best practices, including objection handling and competitive selling, is advantageous. Strong sales performance analysis skills, coupled with the ability to manage sales activities, diagnose performance issues, and translate insights into actionable recommendations, are highly valued.
