This role is for a Senior Manager within our Life Sciences Digital R&D practice. We seek a candidate with a robust techno-functional background, adept at translating scientific insights into cutting-edge technological solutions. You will thrive in collaborative environments, working alongside scientists, product managers, and engineers to convert complex scientific data into impactful, actionable outcomes.

Define and execute programs and projects for Digital R&D capabilities within the Sector transformation team. Lead go-to-market and presales initiatives, including solution proposals, evaluations, and funding estimates. Partner with delivery teams to ensure product and platform strategies align with client R&D needs.

Ensure timely, budget-compliant, secure, and quality delivery of projects. Drive efficient DevOps for platforms and systems, maintaining optimal performance and availability. Serve as the primary liaison between scientific stakeholders and technical teams, translating requirements into clear data transformation and architecture specifications.

Collaborate with domain experts to document business rules and data quality expectations, converting them into functional specifications. Deliver requirements for data and AI/ML-driven solutions to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance data utilization. Work closely with data engineers to validate pipeline logic and data transformations.

Contribute to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, reporting enablement, and data quality governance. Provide ongoing input during sprint reviews to ensure data accuracy and usability. Establish project governance structures with appropriate stakeholder representation and track deliverables against success factors and SLAs/KPIs.

Stay informed on industry trends to drive agility and effectiveness. Ensure a positive user experience in new solution designs and deployments. Adhere to security and compliance policies, executing problem management to prevent recurrence. Govern underlying IT services for digital applications.

Possess deep domain knowledge in drug discovery, preclinical development, and CMC, coupled with expertise in identifying innovative use cases for data, AI, and machine learning applications. Demonstrate strong communication skills to effectively engage with scientists and business leaders, maximizing the value derived from scientific data.

Requires over 15 years of industry or consulting experience in life sciences, preferably within pharma, biotech, or health tech. This includes deep expertise in discovery, preclinical, and CMC areas. Significant hands-on experience with scientific data workflows, lab automation, FAIR principles, and modern data architecture is essential.

Experience in customer-facing or consulting roles is highly valued. Exceptional communication skills are necessary to effectively engage both technical and executive stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding across diverse teams.
