The Enterprise Monitoring team is seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer II to advance our Application Performance Monitoring and Digital Experience Monitoring strategies. This role requires a proactive and curious individual with a strong passion for SRE principles, capable of balancing strategic initiatives with immediate operational demands.

In this capacity, you will provide essential day-to-day support and configuration for our monitoring tools, serving internal customers. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation, collaborating closely with technical leads and fellow engineers to address specific needs.

Key duties include discussing requirements with internal stakeholders and management to ensure alignment and effective implementation of monitoring solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with leading application performance management (APM) tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or Datadog, with a strong preference for Dynatrace proficiency. A solid understanding of Linux environments and the ability to modify basic automation scripts in Python, Perl, or bash are essential.

Familiarity with foundational distributed application concepts, synthetic end-user monitoring techniques, and container orchestration systems like Kubernetes (K8s) on cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure is expected. The role also requires participation in an on-call rotation for off-hours support. Excellent communication and time management skills are crucial for effectively handling a workload that encompasses both new development and ongoing operational maintenance.
