Develop and implement comprehensive test procedures to verify the functionality of new silicon. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to debug failures across silicon, boards, software, and manufacturing. Provide consistent updates on silicon health status to platform, software, and volume manufacturing teams. Plan, develop, and execute tests to validate CPU subsystems and system-level integration. Offer support for silicon debug and address field failures. In-person interviews are typically required for this role as part of the hiring process.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering, coupled with practical experience in CPU validation. Minimum of 8 years of experience in developing test and debug infrastructure. Proven experience with CPU architecture and debugging methodologies.

Additionally, preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering, with practical experience in CPU validation. Knowledge of ARM CPU architecture is highly advantageous. Proficiency in programming languages such as C and embedded C, along with scripting skills in Python, Perl, or Tcl. Experience in complex system debugging, working with embedded operating systems, and bare metal programming. Familiarity with CPU microarchitecture and coherent fabric is beneficial.
