You'll be instrumental in crafting pre-silicon firmware and software, establishing a direct interface with hardware. This position involves integrating and developing C tests/APIs, optimizing the software build flow, and conducting thorough design and code reviews. Your expertise will be crucial in testing and validating product implementations, ensuring high-quality and reliable silicon performance.

In this role, you will be expected to operate independently and evolve into a Subject Matter Expert (SME). Active participation and contribution in team discussions are vital. You will be responsible for providing effective solutions to work-related challenges and collaborating closely with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of firmware and silicon components. Documenting design decisions and test results will support knowledge sharing and future development efforts. Additionally, you will assist junior team members by offering guidance on embedded systems concepts and continuously strive to improve firmware development processes for enhanced efficiency and product quality.

We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 3 years of experience, specifically in Embedded C. A strong understanding of low-level hardware interfacing and debugging techniques is essential. Candidates should possess a robust grasp of embedded system architecture and real-time operating systems. Familiarity with software build systems and version control tools is required. The ability to perform detailed code reviews and uphold high coding standards is paramount. Knowledge of testing methodologies and validation processes for embedded software is also necessary. A commitment to 15 years of full-time education is a prerequisite for this position.
