As a Silicon Firmware and Embedded Engineer, you will architect and refine the software that powers and operates silicon chips.

This role involves developing pre-silicon firmware with a direct interface to hardware. You will integrate and develop C tests/APIs, manage software build flows, and conduct thorough design and code reviews.

A key part of this position is testing and validating product implementations to ensure they meet stringent quality standards. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to align software with hardware capabilities is essential.

Expected to operate independently and grow into a Subject Matter Expert (SME).

Actively contribute to and participate in team discussions, offering solutions to complex work-related problems.

Collaborate closely with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of firmware and silicon components.

Document design decisions and test outcomes to facilitate knowledge sharing and support future development efforts.

Provide guidance and support to junior team members, aiding their understanding of embedded systems.

A strong command of Embedded C++ is essential for this role.

Demonstrated understanding of microcontroller architectures and hardware-software interfacing is required.

Experience with debugging tools and techniques specifically for embedded systems is necessary.

Ability to write efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code is a must.

Familiarity with software build systems and version control tools is expected.

Knowledge of real-time operating systems and low-level programming concepts is beneficial.
