As a SharePoint Operations Engineer, you will provide Level 3 operational and engineering support for SharePoint Online, SharePoint On-Prem, MS Teams, OneDrive for Business, and other M365 services. Your responsibilities include in-depth troubleshooting of end-user issues, managing permissions, web parts, lists, and site-level configurations.

You will also be responsible for expert-level incident management, service requests, and change requests within ServiceNow processes. This role involves supporting the SharePoint support workflow across all levels and creating tickets for Microsoft when further troubleshooting is needed. Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation is essential for this role.

To excel in this role, you should possess in-depth knowledge of SharePoint, OneDrive, and Power Platform features, along with related M365 services. Essential technical skills include experience with SharePoint 2016/2019/SE installation and configuration, advanced PowerShell scripting, automation, and CSOM/MSMQ/Provider Hosted Apps. A solid understanding of various access and authentication models, troubleshooting tools, and classic/modern SharePoint functionality is also required.

Ideally, you will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. A minimum of 1 year in a dedicated SharePoint support role, with 2-5 years of overall support experience, is expected. Candidates must demonstrate strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse cultures and time zones. Flexibility for 24/7 support and periodic night shifts is a must.
