This senior position focuses on migrating from Salesforce CPQ to Salesforce Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA). You will play a pivotal role in understanding current processes, identifying opportunities for enhancement, and defining future-state workflows that leverage the full capabilities of RCA.

Lead comprehensive discovery sessions with sales operations, finance, and IT teams to meticulously document existing CPQ configurations, workflows, and customizations.

Develop detailed process maps illustrating current-state operations, encompassing product catalogs, pricing rules, discount structures, quote templates, approval processes, and contract lifecycles.

Analyze and articulate discrepancies between current CPQ functionality and the RCA data model, detailing the impact of migration.

Define and document optimized future-state business processes, aligning them with RCA's native features like Product Catalog, Dynamic Revenue Orchestration, and Subscription Management.

Translate intricate business needs into clear functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for the development team.

Collaborate with architects to evaluate existing Apex code, triggers, and integrations within the CPQ environment, proposing effective migration or rebuild strategies.

Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, create test scripts, and manage sign-off processes with business stakeholders.

Maintain a comprehensive traceability matrix to link CPQ elements with their RCA counterparts throughout the project lifecycle.

Effectively manage stakeholder expectations regarding feature parity, project timelines, and the scope of data migration.

A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst on Salesforce platform initiatives is required.

Possess at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ, including expertise in product rules, pricing rules, quote templates, approval workflows, amendments, and renewals.

Demonstrate working knowledge of Salesforce Revenue Cloud Advanced (formerly Industries CPQ / Vlocity) or a proven ability to rapidly acquire proficiency with its object model.

Maintain a strong understanding of Quote-to-Cash (QTC) and Order-to-Revenue (OTR) business processes.

Experience in documenting complex business rules using decision tables, process flows (BPMN or similar), and detailed functional specifications.

Proficiency with collaboration and project management tools such as Confluence, JIRA, and Lucidchart, or equivalent alternatives.

Ability to interpret Salesforce configurations, including flows, validation rules, and field mappings, without requiring coding expertise.

While not mandatory, a Salesforce CPQ Specialist or Salesforce Revenue Cloud/Industries CPQ certification is advantageous.

Experience with data migration projects, specifically migrating CPQ quote or contract data to RCA, is a plus.

Familiarity with Salesforce DX and metadata-driven deployment methodologies is beneficial.

Previous involvement in a CPQ-to-RCA or CPQ-to-Vlocity migration project is highly valued.

Exceptional facilitation skills are essential, enabling effective workshops with diverse technical and non-technical audiences.

The ability to constructively challenge requirements when they conflict with platform capabilities is expected.

A keen eye for detail and a consistent record of maintaining up-to-date documentation amidst project changes are crucial.
