We seek a candidate with deep technical expertise and strong platform engineering skills, experienced in managing large-scale, governed ServiceNow environments. Essential skills include proficiency in JavaScript development and scripting, a solid understanding of ServiceNow fundamentals and platform architecture, and the ability to independently troubleshoot technical challenges. Practical experience with CMDB, Discovery, and related ServiceNow concepts is vital.

Design and develop scalable solutions for CMDB (aligned to CSDM), ServiceNow Discovery, and Service Mapping. Build and maintain robust patterns for service modeling, CI relationships, and dependency mapping. Create custom scripts, integrations, and automation using Business Rules, Script Includes, Flow Designer, and REST/SOAP APIs. Optimize platform performance and data ingestion pipelines. Drive CMDB health through completeness, correctness, compliance, and reconciliation. Implement and enforce Identification & Reconciliation Engine (IRE) rules, data certification, and lifecycle management. Engineer and optimize Horizontal Discovery, Service Mapping patterns, probes, sensors, and credentials. Troubleshoot complex discovery and mapping issues, and build reusable patterns for various application stacks and cloud-native services. Design integrations to enrich CMDB and service context with cloud platforms, monitoring tools, and asset systems. Ensure solutions meet audit, risk, and compliance requirements, supporting incident, problem, and vulnerability management.

Must have: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD). Highly desired: Certified Implementation Specialist – Discovery (CIS-Discovery), Certified Implementation Specialist – Service Mapping (CIS-Service Mapping), and Certified Implementation Specialist – Data Foundations (CIS-DF). Additional nice-to-have certifications include CIS – IT Service Management (CIS-ITSM), Certified Technical Architect (CTA), and cloud certifications (AWS/Azure).

Key technical proficiencies include JavaScript development and scripting, ServiceNow development fundamentals, platform architecture, troubleshooting technical problems, practical application of CMDB, Discovery, and related ServiceNow concepts, and real-world development experience.
