Seeking a skilled ServiceNow SPM Developer/Senior Developer to implement and configure the Strategic Portfolio Management modules. This role involves configuring core SPM functionalities, including Strategic Planning, Demand Management, Portfolio Planning, Project and Program Management, Resource Management, and Financial Planning.

Key responsibilities include developing workflows, creating scoped applications, and customizing UI Builder experiences. A focus will be placed on integrating ServiceNow SPM with various enterprise systems such as Jira, Azure DevOps, ERP, and HR platforms. Additionally, experience with generative AI capabilities, including Now Assist for SPM, is highly valued.

This is a subcontractor role requiring a strong understanding of ServiceNow platform best practices and modern development techniques. The position is based in Bengaluru, India.

Implement and configure core ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) modules, covering Strategic Planning, Demand Management, Portfolio Planning, Project Management, Resource Management, and Financial Planning.

Develop and customize workflows, flows, business rules, script includes, and client scripts within scoped applications. Configure UI Builder experiences, workspaces, dashboards, and reports.

Integrate ServiceNow SPM with external systems like Jira, Azure DevOps, ERP, and HR platforms. Implement AI capabilities within SPM, such as Now Assist for summarization and demand refinement.

Prepare technical designs, configuration workbooks, and deployment documentation. Perform code reviews, defect resolution, performance optimization, and provide post-deployment support.

Possess at least 4 years of ServiceNow development experience, with a minimum of 2 years dedicated to hands-on SPM implementation or enhancement.

Demonstrate proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, ACLs, and scoped applications. Experience with SPM data models, workspaces, reports, dashboards, and REST/SOAP integrations is essential.

Familiarity with source control, update sets or application repository, Automated Test Framework, and release management practices is required. Exposure to generative AI, prompt engineering, and AI agents is a plus.

ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, or CIS – Strategic Portfolio Management are highly preferred. ITIL Foundation or Agile/Scrum certification is also beneficial.
