Provide crucial UI design support for Optum's digital platforms, including optum.com. Develop engaging UI components, visual elements, and optimize digital imagery for web. Explore emerging digital healthcare trends and contribute innovative ideas. Translate user insights from analytics and feedback into impactful design improvements. Champion the user's needs and ensure a clear understanding of the problems being solved.

Contribute to and uphold the UI Design System and its reusable components. Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and content teams to deliver exceptional design solutions. We are seeking an experienced professional with an undergraduate degree or equivalent experience, possessing at least 7 years of hands-on experience in UX/UI, interaction design, or visual design. A proven track record of working effectively with diverse teams and managing competing priorities is essential, along with over 7 years of experience integrating user feedback into the design process through research and customer insights.

Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Figjam, and the Adobe Creative Suite is required, alongside a minimum of 3 years of experience collaborating within cross-functional teams. Experience building or utilizing personas to guide design decisions and a minimum of 3 years of experience presenting design work to stakeholders are also necessary.

Candidates should demonstrate a strong understanding of visual design principles, interaction design, and usability best practices. The ability to clearly articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with stakeholders is paramount. Experience applying and contributing to design systems and component libraries is highly valued.
