Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deeply understand business processes and workflows. Develop comprehensive functional specifications and requirement documents. Navigate ambiguity to uncover underlying requirements for new feature requests, proposing alternative technical approaches and guiding engineering efforts to meet stringent deadlines. Partner with software and operations teams for project launches and ongoing technical support. Conduct regular program updates and reviews with stakeholders and leadership. Foster widespread adoption of available services both internally and externally within Amazon. Serve as the primary point of contact for gathering enhancement requirements, creating demos, samples, and technical collateral as needed. Act as the product owner, defining roadmaps in conjunction with stakeholders. Drive efficiencies in engineering and complex architectures to foster innovation and accelerate delivery within program areas. Manage multiple projects within a program area or oversee large, challenging projects to achieve organizational objectives. Facilitate critical technical trade-offs, balancing immediate team needs with long-term business goals.

A minimum of 8 years of direct experience working with engineering teams. At least 4 years in a technical product or program management capacity. 3+ years of hands-on software development experience. An additional 4 years specifically in technical program management, collaborating directly with software engineering teams. Proven experience managing programs across diverse cross-functional teams, establishing robust processes, and coordinating release schedules. Preferred qualifications include 5+ years in project management disciplines covering scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk management. Experience in defining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for multi-million dollar businesses, reporting to senior leadership, and exposure to software product architecture solutioning and design are also advantageous.
