We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to join our Data Collection and Engineering Program. This role is crucial for driving our core data ETL strategy forward through continuous innovation and problem-solving. This role involves planning, executing, and delivering complex projects from inception to completion, focusing on technology, product, or program initiatives. You will maintain an integrated plan, accounting for internal and external dependencies, varying delivery approaches, constraints, and contingency planning.

Key responsibilities include securing resources, scoping efforts, prioritizing tasks, and establishing clear delivery milestones. You will proactively manage the end-to-end delivery of engineering work, reporting progress, ensuring dependencies are met, bridging gaps between teams, processes, and systems, and removing any blockers to successful delivery. This position requires accelerating progress by driving timely and decisive actions.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for projects, communicating confidently with stakeholders at multiple levels. You will be the source of truth for project status, transforming raw ideas into clear and concise communications. This includes providing the right information and data to the appropriate audience at the right time and running effective meetings.

Experience with industry technologies and a deep understanding of your program, product, or technology domain are essential. You will possess sufficient depth and credibility to effectively collaborate with teams and competently represent team services to stakeholders. You may also involve developers or SMEs in meetings for detailed discussions.

This role involves defining program strategy and delivering independently, with occasional direction sought from peers or managers. You will nurture strong working relationships with engineers, managers, and peers. Additionally, you will optimize existing team approaches or limited areas, demonstrating improvements using data and utilizing department mechanisms like retrospectives and staff meetings to drive continuous improvement.

A strong understanding of the payments and technology industries is expected, coupled with experience in managing complex technical programs. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in project planning, execution, and end-to-end delivery.

Essential skills include proactive dependency management, stakeholder communication, and the ability to identify and resolve project blockers effectively.
