We are seeking a seasoned professional with a strong background in software engineering, SRE, or DevOps. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining application uptime, managing system enhancements, and ensuring adherence to ITIL best practices. You will collaborate closely with engineering, QA, and business stakeholders in a regulated environment.

This position requires a solid understanding of reliability engineering principles, including SLIs and SLOs, alongside robust experience in incident response. You'll leverage your technical skills to modify existing code, understand microservices architecture, and work extensively with AWS services. Proficiency in automation, scripting, CI/CD tools, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and monitoring tools is essential.

Maintain and enhance application uptime and performance, overseeing daily operational activities and driving continuous improvement. Manage system enhancements and defects, ensuring robust solutions and adherence to ITIL best practices. Modify existing codebases in Python, React, GraphQL, and REST APIs, and apply your understanding of microservices architecture. Effectively troubleshoot and resolve platform and infrastructure issues. Provide L2 level DevOps/SRE support, including issue resolution and fixing user-access or report-related problems. Manage vendors and business stakeholders, influencing decision-making processes. Ensure a general understanding of the DevOps life-cycle, SRE principles, and best practices.

A strong foundation in software engineering, SRE, DevOps, or production support roles is essential. Demonstrable understanding of reliability engineering principles such as SLIs and SLOs, coupled with solid incident response capabilities. Proven ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, QA, and business stakeholders within a regulated setting. Technical proficiency includes modifying code (Python, React, GraphQL, REST API), understanding microservices, and working with AWS services like EC2, IAM, S3, CloudFormation, VPC, ECS, EKS, RDS, and Lambda. Automation and scripting skills in SHELL or Python, along with YAML, are required. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab), Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), and HELM is necessary. Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk and Grafana is expected. A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience, coupled with 5-10 years in the software development lifecycle or Agile methodologies, is required. Experience with system integration and support, along with strong teamwork, self-management, and problem-solving abilities, are key attributes for this role.
