Join our dynamic Engineering, AI & Data team as a Senior Team Lead specializing in MS SQL Database Administration. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our mission-critical systems, driving innovation, and ensuring optimal financial performance and business growth. Provide comprehensive 24/7 database support, including managing incidents, requests, and changes, with on-call responsibilities during weekends and off-hours. Ensure the stability and performance of production systems, adhering to strict BAU (Business As Usual) operational standards. Leverage your expertise in ITIL framework to manage incidents and crisis calls effectively, collaborating with vendors and clients. Responsibilities include planning and executing SQL Server patchings and upgrades, automating routine tasks, and optimizing database performance through query tuning and index management. You will also configure and monitor high availability solutions, manage backups and recovery, and troubleshoot SQL Agent Jobs and Maintenance Plans. Troubleshooting data corruption and preparing technical documentation are also key duties.

This role requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree coupled with strong teamwork skills and the flexibility to work in rotational shifts (24/7), including weekends. Essential qualifications include deep knowledge of MS SQL, Always-ON, Clustering, and Performance Tuning. Experience with PostgreSQL or MongoDB is a significant advantage. Proven ability to manage production database operations, understand BAU importance, and apply ITIL framework principles is expected. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, are vital. Experience in incident management, crisis call handling, client engagement, and presentation skills with expertise in Excel functions and macros are necessary. A proactive approach to learning new technologies and mentoring team members is highly valued.
