Seeking a skilled Senior Systems Engineer to manage and support cloud-based applications and customer environments. This role involves deploying applications, monitoring system health, resolving incidents, and ensuring optimal service availability. You will leverage DevOps practices, automation, and cutting-edge cloud technologies to enhance the performance, stability, and security of production systems. Flexibility for 24x7 rotational shifts, including night shifts, is essential.

Deploy, configure, and upgrade applications in cloud environments. Proactively monitor production systems and respond to alerts to guarantee uptime. Efficiently troubleshoot and resolve application and infrastructure issues. Conduct thorough incident management with detailed root cause analysis. Manage backups, data recovery, and participate in disaster recovery planning. Automate operational tasks using CI/CD and infrastructure automation. Build and manage new cloud environments, servers, and application stacks. Implement robust security best practices. Collaborate with engineering, support, and QA teams. Maintain system documentation and operational runbooks. Contribute to performance tuning and capacity planning. Support network configurations, firewall rules, and load balancing. Adhere to ITIL processes for change management.

Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Bring over 6 years of experience in IT operations and application support. Demonstrate experience with major cloud providers such as OCI, AWS, Azure, and GCP. Proven expertise with Windows/Linux servers and troubleshooting. Solid understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines. Hands-on experience with automation and configuration tools like Git, Jenkins, Terraform, Chef. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes). Strong grasp of networking fundamentals (DNS, routing, load balancing, firewalls). Excellent communication skills and readiness for 24x7 rotational shifts. Experience with big data applications like Hadoop and Kafka is a plus.
