This role involves creating the most demanding applications to stress GPUs and servers throughout their lifecycle. We seek engineers with exceptional C/C++ skills, a strong grasp of systems software and OS fundamentals, and a deep understanding of current PC hardware architecture. As a system software engineer, you will leverage your expertise in operating systems, algorithms, and computer architecture to deliver robust, efficient solutions. Your work will be critical in validating and testing cutting-edge processors, ensuring the reliability and performance of future computing and graphics products.
Collaborate closely with architecture, hardware, and driver teams throughout the development lifecycle of computing and graphics processors. Craft essential software tools and infrastructure to support new chip development, validation, and productization. Assess emerging hardware features and design manufacturing diagnostic solutions using pre-beta driver extensions. Gain a comprehensive understanding of our hardware and software architectures to inform your work.
A BTech or MTech degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
A minimum of 5 years' experience in a relevant hardware/software engineering position is necessary.
Proficiency in C/C++ programming is essential, along with familiarity with PC architecture and the ability to work closely with hardware.
