Your responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and debugging critical changes within the NVIDIA software stack. You will guide next-generation hardware from its initial design and development phases through to production, with a particular emphasis on kernel-mode software. You will be involved in the entire lifecycle of devices, supporting their integration into datacenter systems, customer desktops, notebooks, workstations, and globally recognized gaming console products. Significant contributions will be expected in areas such as emulation, bring-up, and product hardening, all crucial for building our industry-leading products. This position also presents multiple opportunities for effective collaboration and communication with diverse teams across the globe.
We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor of Science (BS) or Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience. A minimum of 5 years of relevant software development experience is required. A strong background in solving complex problems within sophisticated, large-scale deployed systems is essential. Proficiency in C/C++ programming is a must, alongside a demonstrated history of initiative in independent coding projects. Familiarity with computer system architecture, fundamental microprocessor and microcontroller concepts (including caches, buses, memory controllers, and DMA), and robust operating system fundamentals with kernel experience on Linux or Windows systems are also critical prerequisites for this role.
