Lead the technical architecture and roadmap for NVLink and high-performance interconnect firmware on future GPU platforms, remaining hands-on with C, C++, and Python for high-impact challenges.
Assume complete ownership of intricate interconnect features, guiding them from design through final verification stages.
Develop correctness models, comprehensive verification plans, and test cases, primarily in Python, to validate firmware functionality in both pre-silicon and post-silicon environments.
Influence silicon bring-up, design-for-debug strategies, and overall program validation efforts in collaboration with architecture, hardware, and design teams across Bangalore and US sites.
Establish the team's verification methodology, engineering standards, and quality gates, alongside an automation strategy to enhance scalability.
Drive advancements in the team's AI-assisted debug and root-cause analysis tooling to accelerate the resolution of complex failures.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline is required.
Possess over 10 years of experience in firmware or software development and verification.
Demonstrate deep programming expertise in Python, C, and C++, with a strong grasp of object-oriented design principles.
Exhibit a solid understanding of computer architecture, microprocessors, and microcontroller fundamentals.
Showcase expert-level debugging and analytical skills that effectively bridge the hardware and software domains.
Present a proven history of technical leadership, including setting strategic direction, mentoring engineers, and elevating team-wide quality standards.
Possess excellent collaboration and communication abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to succeed in a multinational, multi-timezone environment encompassing both on-site and remote team members.
