This position requires deep expertise in operating systems like Linux, QNX, and Android, coupled with strong experience in device driver development, virtualization, and ARM architecture.
Architect, develop, and enhance native and para-virtualized Linux/QNX device drivers. Resolve complex system-level issues across Linux, Android, and QNX operating systems. Lead architecture discussions for software components and collaborate with customers to support DRIVE software solutions.
Continuously refine requirements gathering processes and traceability. Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams to meet customer needs and drive issue resolution. Participate in architectural explorations, including feasibility studies, safety evaluations, and data analysis. Optimize performance for customer use-cases and functions on Drive OS software.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience, is required. We are seeking candidates with over 10 years of overall experience, ideally with at least 4 years in the automotive industry. A profound understanding of the display software stack on Android and/or Linux, including surface flinger, HW composer, and DRM/KMS, is essential.
Proficiency in C/C++ programming and debugging is a must, along with a solid grasp of ARM processor architecture fundamentals. Experience in embedded software development and the product development lifecycle is highly valued. Familiarity with functional safety architecture for ISO26262 standards is a significant advantage. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are expected.
