Lead the strategic vision and roadmap for the YouTube Create product, offering expert technical guidance to a team of approximately 40 engineers in Bengaluru.

Champion and advocate for best engineering practices across YouTube teams, providing essential technical leadership. Offer mentorship to Technical Leads and Managers, guiding critical technical decisions.

Co-own the delivery of Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and the product roadmap. Drive collaboration across various organizational units, ensuring alignment and integration of multiple work streams to foster differentiation.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required, alongside 8 years of software development experience.

Demonstrate 7 years of experience in building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks. Experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture is also essential.

Possess 3 years of full-stack development experience, encompassing back-end technologies such as Java, Python, or C++, and front-end expertise including JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.

Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree or PhD in a relevant technical field, 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms, and 5 years in a technical leadership role. Experience within complex, matrixed organizations is also advantageous.
