We seek a Senior Staff Software Engineer with a minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering, specializing in Information Retrieval (IR), Natural Language Processing (NLP), or Machine Learning (ML). A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is required.

Demonstrated experience in launching user-facing, large-scale, production-quality systems is essential. You should be adept at designing, implementing, and optimizing high-performance, distributed search or quality systems within production environments.

Experience with advanced areas such as embedding-based retrieval, vector search, query understanding, or Large Language Models (LLMs) applied to search is highly desirable. Proven ability in managing system latency improvements, scalability enhancements, defining metrics, analyzing user feedback, and conducting complex search experiments is also valued.
