Provide expert technical leadership on projects with significant impact. Develop and guide the team's architectural roadmap, ensuring a balance between user conversion, rapid experimentation, system reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.

Influence and mentor a globally distributed team of engineers, fostering collaboration and technical growth. Facilitate clear alignment across teams on objectives, outcomes, and timelines, working closely with Google infrastructure teams.

Take ownership of project management, including priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance sophisticated large-scale software solutions.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.

Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in software development, encompassing programming languages, data structures, and algorithms. Additionally, 5 years of experience in software design, architecture, and product launch is necessary.

Preferred qualifications include a Master’s or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Expertise in data structures and algorithms over 8 years, with 5 years in a technical leadership capacity guiding project teams and setting technical direction, is highly valued. Experience in complex, matrixed environments with cross-functional or cross-business projects over 3 years is also beneficial.
