Your role will involve providing crucial technical leadership on key projects and defining the architectural roadmap. Provide technical leadership and drive the architectural roadmap for impactful projects within Google One. Influence and mentor a globally distributed engineering team, fostering collaboration and alignment. Facilitate clear communication on goals, outcomes, and timelines across teams.

Collaborate with various Google infrastructure teams to ensure alignment with company-wide priorities. Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables effectively. Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale software solutions that serve millions of users.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required. You should possess 8 years of experience in software development, including proficiency with data structures and algorithms. Additionally, 5 years of experience in software design, architecture, testing, and launching products is essential.

Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. We are looking for individuals with 5 years of experience in a technical leadership capacity, guiding project teams and setting technical direction. Experience within complex, matrixed organizations managing cross-functional projects is also highly valued.
