As a Senior Staff Software Engineer, you will spearhead the design and development of critical, large-scale distributed systems. This senior individual contributor role demands high technical depth, cross-team influence, and end-to-end ownership of complex engineering initiatives.

You will architect and build scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems, driving technical strategy for core platform, backend, and infrastructure projects. You will also mentor engineers, establish best practices, and influence technical direction across the organization, while remaining hands-on with design, code reviews, and debugging.

We seek a Senior Staff Software Engineer with over 15 years of experience, ideally in backend, platform, infrastructure, or distributed systems. You must demonstrate proven experience at Staff+ technical levels, with a strong foundation in coding, debugging, and system building.

Proficiency in at least one backend language like Python, Java, or Go is essential, along with extensive experience building and operating large-scale production systems. You should possess deep architectural understanding of distributed systems, APIs, databases, and performance optimization.
